This tutorial will show you how to install the eBox Desktop Client Software on Windows.
The eBox Desktop Client is compatible with all versions of Windows. At the time of this writing, the latest Microsoft Operating System is Windows 10.
Your eBox account will be installed as a Cloud Drive on your computer with drive letter (Z:) and will function like a local storage device.
First step, we need to determine if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit Operating System
In the Search box, type windows version
Select See if you have 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows
Alternately, you open Control Panel and select System
Look at System type
In this example, we are running a 64-bit operating system
Log into the eBox Web Interface
From the Profile menu, click on the Desktop Clients button
Under eBox Desktop Client (Windows)
Select your Operating System version (32-bit or 64-bit) from the dropdown menu.
Click Go to download the software
Open the file you downloaded
If you see a warning similar to this, click OK
The installer will launch, click Next
Click I Agree
If you see a prompt similar to this, click Yes
Your eBox account is now added as Drive (Z:)
There will be a shortcut placed on your desktop
You can also see the eBox Drive inside File Explorer
