Configuring office machines and third-party software to send email through our SMTP server

You may use our SMTP server included with your service plan if your office device supports the following security protocols.

To configure your device:

First, you will need to determine what your mail server address is. Please open a web browser on your computer and type in webmail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name) and press enter. For example, if your email address is bob@xyzhealth.com, you would type in webmail.xyzhealth.com. Please do not include http:// or https:// in front of it.

You will automatically be redirected to your mail server. Your mail server address is the first portion of the URL, right before /Login.aspx. In this example, the mail server address that we were redirected to is mail5.emailpros.com. Please write down your mail server address, you will need it for the next steps.

On your machine, for the SMTP Server:  Enter your mail server address

We provide 3 Port Settings:
587 (TLS ON)
465 (SSL ON)
25 (TLS or SSL ON)

You must use authentication:
User name: your email address
Password: your password

"Sender" or "from" address MUST match the authenticated address. It cannot be any other email address.

Some devices do not support the security settings above. If you have an incompatible device, we offer an Open SMTP Relay service for $10 per month. Please send an email to support@emailpros.com to request the Open SMTP Relay Service for your account. We will then send you the settings you can use for your device(s).
